Children's Account with no maintenance fees
The Children's Account is completely free up to 15 years of age and can be used without a monthly maintenance fee until the age of 30. All you have to do is bring or send us a certificate of study at least once after your child turns 20.
MorePayment card
The debit card is issued to children aged 8 and above, free of charge. Children can use it to pay in shops or online and to withdraw money from VÚB ATM, free of charge.

Always keep your child's account under control.
While some parents use the child account primarily for savings, others let their child learn how to use a payment card and manage their own pocket money as soon as possible.
You can have card payment notifications sent to your phone to keep track of every payment your child makes. You can also monitor your child’s account in your Internet Banking and VÚB Mobile Banking.

Your child can pay in stores using a Card for Young People or withdraw money from our ATMs free of charge. Children can also use their card to make purchases over the internet. You can keep control of all payments and set up spending limits.

Does your child already have a mobile phone? If you want them to get used to new technologies, you can also set up Google Pay or Apple Pay for them.
VÚB Junior banking
With the new VÚB Junior Banking app, you will introduce your child to the world of finance and teach them a responsible approach to money. Your child can monitor their pocket money balance or ask for a top-up via the app.
By having all their finances in one place, children know exactly how much they can spend and when to restrain themselves.

How do I open a Junior Account?
Your ID card and your child's birth certificate is all you'll need.
You can easily open the account at any of our branches. Simply find your nearest branch, and we'll be happy to help you get set up.
