Cash deposits via ATM are free of charge for all bank accounts, including the Account for Young People.

Cash withdrawals from a VUB ATM or an Intesa Sanpaolo ATM abroad in euro currency are free of charge,

The fee for withdrawing cash with the Youth Card from an ATM in Slovakia (outside VUB) and abroad is € 1.20. This discounted fee is intended for clients up to the age of 27 years and in the case of withdrawals in euro currency. In case of withdrawals in other currencies, the fee is 2.5% of the transaction. The cross-border conversion fee is not charged for transactions made in euro currency (applies to all types of accounts in general).

Foreign banks of the Intesa San Paolo Group are sister banks that, like VUB Bank, belong to the Group. You can, for example, withdraw money from an ATM there without a fee. These banks include:

The VUB Youth Account will be automatically transformed into a standard VUB account. We will stop providing the benefit for young people from the month in which you reach the age of 30.
There is no need to apply for anything, the payment card will remain functional as well. Such an account will be charged as a VUB account. In addition, it is possible to get up to 100% discount on the account maintenance fee thanks to the Loyalty Reward.

If you are at least 20 years old, you can open your account simply via the VUB Mobile Banking app or at any VUB bank branch. All you need is your ID card and active Slovak mobile number.

If you are already our client, but do not hold an account, you can open it at any of our bank branches or using the Internet/Mobile Banking, provided you use the services of electronic banking.

The VUB Youth Account is available for clients who are at least 20 years old. To clients younger than 20, we offer the Student Account. If you are 15 and more, to open your VUB Student’s Account you will only need your ID card. You can open your account simply and fast without your parents, using the VUB Mobile Banking app or at any VUB bank branch.

If you are already our client, but do not hold an account, you can open it online using the Internet/Mobil Banking or at any VUB bank branch without the presence of your parents.
