More information about the Green Profihypo Loan

Terms and conditions for granting a loan:

  • a legal or natural person (entrepreneur)
  • existing client – minimum one year of entrepreneurship (one full accounting period)
  • new client – minimum two years of entrepreneurship (two full accounting periods)
  • meets the basic criteria set by the bank for granting a business loan, i.e. has an expert opinion prepared by a forensic expert and has an Energy Certificate for the property*

Maturity period and repayment of the loan

  • Repayment period from 4 to 15 years.
  • For selected members of chambers (e.g. Slovak Chamber of Dentists, Slovak Medical Chamber. The list can be found here: Members of chambers and associations), the loan repayment period is set from 1 to 20 years.
  • The principal can be repaid in linear or annuity instalments.

Linear instalments: the principal of the loan is repaid in regular monthly instalments on a date set by the client; interest is paid monthly on the last day of the month.

Annuity instalments: principal and interest are repaid monthly on a single day, which is set by the client as the annuity payment date.

Loan amount

  • The minimum loan amount is EUR 16 000, and the maximum loan amount is up to EUR 500 000.
  • For selected members of chambers (e.g. Slovak Chamber of Dentists, Slovak Medical Chamber... A complete list of selected Chambers can be found here: Members of Chambers and Associations), the minimum loan amount is from 10 000 to 300 000 euros.

Use of the loan

  • The loan can be drawn down within 12 months of signing the contract – as a lump sum or in several instalments.
  • It’s also possible to refund invoices that have already been paid, issued 12 months prior to the submission of the loan application.

Green Profihypo loan security:

  • guarantee document
  • domestic property:
  • registered in the land registry
  • the transfer of title to the property must not be restricted
  • insurance of immovable property, which forms the subject of the loan security, including the collection of the insurance benefit in favour of the bank

Required paperwork:

Paperwork required to evaluate the application:

  • loan application
  • tax return and financial statements for the last completed accounting period and, if applicable, at the end of the completed half-year of the current accounting period
  • documents proving the right to conduct business
  • documents as a proof of the purpose of the loan
  • Energy certificate* as requested by the bank and based on the nature of the purpose of the loan
  • Carbon neutrality certificate in the case of purchase or construction of a low-carbon building as requested by the bank and based on the nature of the purpose

Documents necessary for securing the loan:

  • expert opinion, drawn up by a forensic expert

Documents necessary following the loan approval:

  • Energy certificate*, if the client has not already submitted it with the loan application
  • documents proving the mounting/installation of the product or technology; Energy certificate* for the property in the case of financing “Green buildings”

* Energy certificate for the property – when the purpose of the loan is “purchase or construction of real estate”, we require a Class A Energy Certificate; for other loan purposes related to the renovation of real estate, the Energy Certificate class shall be determined individually according to the specific purpose.
