What is STARMUS?
Bratislava will become the world capital of science and art from May 12 to 17. In collaboration with ESET, we're bringing the seventh year of the prestigious STARMUS festival to Slovakia, the brainchild of astrophysicist Garik Israelian, PhD, and Queen guitarist Brian May.

The theme for the seventh annual festival is a tribute to the most remarkable planet in the universe – Earth. VÚB was the first bank in Slovakia to adopt the Green Manifesto, which put us on the right path to protecting the environment and our planet. We want to bring progressive thinking and unique ideas to everyday life. That's why we're sponsoring this unique event.

Concerts by leading musicians
Enjoy musical acts during the exclusive STAR PARTY night combined with stargazing. We'll have a closing concert featuring The Offspring, Tony Hadley, and many other musicians.

Tribute to the Greatest Scientist of Our Time, where individuals will be honoured for outstanding science communication across four categories: Music & Arts, Science Writing, Films & Entertainment, and Lifetime Achievement.
